VM status is success but job status is failed

I have a question.
When checking the HTML report with a replication job, the VM stats are "success", but the job is "failed".
What is the cause of this situation?

It could happen due to several reasons. I'd suggest you check this situation with our technical support team directly, as debug logs analysis is required to determine the root cause. Please, don't forget to let us know your case ID once you'll have it.

What backup server shows for this job? Open the last replication job session, can you see any errors there? Thanks!

Perhaps the VM was processed successfully during the automatic job retry?

It seems like connectivity issue. Check whether the given share is accessible from backup server. While testing connectivity to the share, use the same credentials you've set in backup console. Thanks!

If backup server still reports an issue, then, certainly there is something going wrong.
To confirm whether it's connectivity issue or something else you need to have an open support case.
