[MERGED] Unable to use database because it was created with a LATER version of Enterprise Manager

Post by soylent »

I'm running Update 4b (9.5.4.2866), and I was trying to reinstall Enterprise Manager from the Update 4b ISO file. However I'm getting this error message when I try to connect it to the VeeamBackupReporting SQL database: "Unable to use VeeamBackupReporting, because it was created with a later version of Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager."

The ISO file is the same version. How can I fix this?

Hello Max,

The quick fix would be to create a new database for your Enterprise Manager installation (just specify another DB name and it should create a blank database which is going to be populated with data collected from Veeam B&R server later). If that does not work for you, please keep working with the support team as they should be able to infidelity the exact problem. Cheers!
