Post by ta_yoshizumi » Jan 25, 2019 4:47 am

I would like to upgrade Veeam v9.5 u3a to u4.

I did below for upgrade.
1. mounted VeeamBackup&Replication_9.5.4.2615.Update4.iso
2. ran Setup.exe
3. select Enterprise Manager upgrade
4. when the select SQL Server Instance, the error occurred below.
Unable to use database VeeamBackupReporting, because it was created with later version of Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager.

Detail SQL Server Instance of GUI
Install new instance of SQL Server ()localhost\VEEAMSQL2016 is gray
Use existing instance of SQL Server (HOSTNAME\INSTANCE)
HOSTNAME\VEEAMSQL2012 (This Instance )
Veeam Backup & Replication database:(Veeam Backup)

Is this known issues?
Please let me know if you can resolve this issues.

Thank you.

Hello ta_yoshizumi,

Please open a support case and share the case ID with us, as we need the debug logs to understand the root cause. Thank you in advance!
