Evacuating a SOBR extent containing ArchiveIndex

Post by markhensler »

For a COS enabled SOBR, each extent will eventually contain an ArchiveIndex folder. When evacuating a SOBR extent, what is expected to happen to the ArchiveIndex folder?

Hello,
it's expected to be evacuated. What is the background of your question?

Best regards,

I have two SOBRs that are out of sync. This started about the time that I evacuated and deleted a few extents from each SOBR. I'm not confident the two events are related, but I felt I should ask to either rule this out or educated myself about properly handling the ArchiveIndex during an extent evacuation.

I just did a quick test and it worked fine in my environment.

I have a support case (04173377) open to resolve the out-of-sync issues.

Thanks for testing this out!
