FLR restore via remote console created folders but not files

Post by TitaniumCoder477 »

One of our clients today used the remote backup console to perform a FLR and encountered an odd outcome:
1. Connected to backup server using remote backup console
2. Located backup point and started FLR
3. Browed to the folder desired in the backup browser
4. Could not restore the folder to the original location due to renaming of the server (expected behavior)
5. Proceeded to restore it locally to a mapped drive (i.e. local to his workstation and the remote backup console)

OUTCOME: The backup browser created the folder structure on the mapped drive but could not restore any files!

Version of BNR: 10.0.0.4461
Version of BNR console: 10.0.0.4461

Hello,
that sounds like a technical issue.

Please provide a support case ID for this issue, as requested when you click New Topic.

Without case number, the post will eventually be deleted by moderators.

I remember bugs for "copy to", so I assume that your issue might be fixed with 10a

Best regards,
Hannes
