VBR Server is not reachable

Hello,

Our AHV jobs (2 jobs on two different clusters) stopped working a time ago. VMware jobs are working without issues.

Veeam GUI says:
VBR Server is not reachable

Log C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\Plugins\AHV\Svc.PlatformService.log says:
[WebServiceStarter]: ServiceUnavailable: Service Unavailable. The server cannot handle the request (because it is overloaded or down for maintenance)..



AHV web GUI reports VBR server status "Unavailable"


Checked following
  • Firewall allows all traffic including Windows Firewall (Veeam AHV Service (in) rule enabled)
  • DNS settings are correct on proxy
  • AHV service on VBR server is running and have been restarted
  • VBR Server and AHV proxy restarted


Using complimentary VUL for backups, so unfortunately I cannot find a support id to open a ticket.


Any suggestions?

Have you tried 'rescans' of the various hosts. Failing that, open the configuration and click 'next, next, next' through the various screens as sometimes this will reset the configuration and cause things to start working.

Using complimentary VUL for backups, so unfortunately I cannot find a support id to open a ticket.
You should be able to open a support Case with your original Socket Support ID. I assume that these Complementary VUL come from the Socket License (vSphere or HyperV)?

I agree, I think all versions of Veeam get technical support but without a subscription you have no SLAs or priority?
