Adding a Veeam Proxy in a workgroup ?
We're rebuilding our Veeam environment to remove it from the domain.
B&R is working fine but we can't add secondary proxies.
When trying to add a proxy, this is the error: "Network path not found, or invalid credentials supplied"
Is there a guide for adding none AD joined proxies to a non AD joined B&R server?
Veeam version - 11.0.0.837
Many thanks

It should just work.
Did you used Servername\use to connect?
As the systems are now outside of the Domain, there is another Windows Firewall rule responsible and most of the ports are by default deactivated.
Please check Windows Firewall configuration on the Proxy and B&R Server.

Thanks Andreas - yeah, the credentials are correct, I'll check the firewalls.

Resolved.
Trying to use a workgroup\veeamuser added to the Administrators group kept failing.
The Fix - connect to the Proxy as the local Administrator.

You must use the LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy=1 registry key to disable remote UAC (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System)
