job error after upgrading to v11
Hi,
I just upgraded a Veeam B&R from 9.5 U4 to v11 and my jobs fail now : "failed to synchronize backup reposity details: unexpected end of file has occurred. the following elements are not clised: vbm, backupmeta..."
I rebooted the server after the upgrade but nothing changes.
I also ran a repository scan.
Any idea to avoid opening a ticket ?
Thanks,
Eric

Hi Vitaliy,
I followed your precious advice and opened a ticket
In the meantime, I noticed the backup repository appears as "unavailable".
When I edit it, it looks like a brand new one (it asks me to populate and next to chose the drive,...). If I continue until the end of the settings, any risk it overwrites what's already on the drive ?
Thanks.

No, it will rescan it instead to display everything you have there in the console.

Hi Alexander,
Thanks for the reply.
I tried that but the repository remains "unavailable"...I hope I'm not going to lose my backups....

You can try to re-add the repository in Veeam B&R. You wouldn't lose anything as we do not delete backups unless you specifically select the Remove from Disk command or they are deleted according to retention.

@EBOUcq
Just wondering if you found a resolution to this? I currently have a case open with the same problem.

Eric has not provided case number, so, we cannot check whether it's come to any resolution. May you create your own ticket and let support team investigate the issue directly? Thanks!

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
The solution was to delete the .vbm files.
