VBM for Teams and sharepoint
Hello,
I read the best practice guide here : https://bp.veeam.com/vbo/guide/operate/jobconfig.html
Specially this sentence : Most Teams data lies in SharePoint, so it it recommended to backup Teams to the same repository as the Teams Sharepoint sites.
Do I need to create 4 backup job :
1 exchange -> repository on D:\exchange
1 sharepoint -> repository on D:\Sharepoint
1 teams -> repository on D:\Sharepoint
1 onedrive -> repository on D:\OneDrive
or 3 jobs
1 exchange -> repository on D:\exchange
1 sharepoint + Teams -> repository on D:\Sharepoint
1 onedrive -> repository on D:\OneDrive
I think it's the first one because there is nothing talking about job but I prefer to ask

Hi Matteu
Using the same backup repo is saving you a lot of disk space if you have a large amount of Sharepoint data in Teams. I would do the same.
For the jobs, it doesn't really matter if you use a single job or dedicated jobs for. I would use dedicated jobs, if one job has more objects to manage compared to the recommended maximums. The only thing I can remember is, when you have dedicated jobs for teams and sharepoint, you have to make sure that they don't run at the same time. Or you will get some warnings that the SharePoint site is already processed by another job.
Processing site ***** finished with warning: Site https://*****.sharepoint.com/sites/***** is already being processed by another job

Re: VBM for Teams and sharepoint
Yes, you can
Just don't run them at the same time. One SPO Site will only be processed by one job at the same time. The other job will give you the warning.
