Hi guys, I need to remove users from VBO to free some licenses , the PowerShell procedure is still the only one? Maybe in v6 we have some GUI enhancements?
Thanks, Marco

Hi Marco
No, still the same. Remove the content, remove the license
Or wait for until the last backup of the user is 31 days old, if you can.

Hello Marco,
Welcome, the PowerShell method is the only one for now, yes. Have you
looked at this example ? It is actually quite simple.
Give it a try with a test account perhaps first.
Thanks!

mmm the fact is that the users are converted to Shared Mailbox, so they continue to use a VBO license

Marco

That should not happen, if you have removed the M365 license after the conversion from the M365 user. If they don‘t have a licensed Mailbox in M365, then after 31 days we don‘t use a VB365 license anymore.
