[TencentCloud] Add Cloud Object Storage as backup repository failed

Post by eric123321 »

I have a Tencentcloud cos with full right api key. When i try to add COS, vbr shows "failed to load S3 configuration. Failed to establish connection to AmazonS3Compatible. See log file Satellite_Console on server vbr for details.
is Tencentcloud COS supported?

I can use COS browser to read/write the content of bucket using same api key

Hello Eric

I have removed the logs. Logs must be send to our customer support team and not uploaded to our forum.
Please open a support case and let me know the case number.

We list compatible systems in the following two locations:
- Unofficial compatibility list: object-storage-as-a-backup-target-f52/u ... 56956.html

- Veeam ready database: https://www.veeam.com/alliance-partner- ... VBR&page=1

Tencentcloud Is not listed as far as I see. Which doesn‘t have to mean it won‘t work. If they have implemented the standard S3 API command set, then it should work. Our support team will be able to tell you why it is failing.

Best,
Fabian
