Slow in Backing up large OneDrive users?

How can I improve the backup performance for the large OneDrive users?

From the below testing using the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 Community Edition it is running very slow for just two objects to my OnPremise VMDK:

Do I have to manually create multiple Veeam Backup Enterprise App registrations like below ?
1x OneDrive
1x SharePoint Online
1x Exchange Online



and then add it to the above settings?

My current setting is just 1x VM for the VBM and Backup Repo.

Hi,

Requests to OneDrive and SharePoint can indeed be throttled. To verify that, you can check the logs for 429 errors.
Adding an extra app can speed up backup because requests will be sent from different apps which should reduce throttling (not eliminate, however). Note though, that adding more than 2 extra apps is not recommended, because multiple applications accessing your SharePoint environment simultaneously may impact its performance for end users.
