Hyper-V Replication - Virtual Networks do not migrate

Post by fulostix »

I have been testing the Hyper-V Replication with a test VM, the replication performs successfully with no problem, but it does not transfer the Virtual Network settings even though I have mapped them in the job. I failover the VM successfully, but then when I right click on the VM and go to the network adapter location, it says "NOT CONNECTED." I then have to manually select the network adapter and VLAN configuration to get the VM to work and ping properly on the network. I did see a KB article ont he VEEAM site about an issue with VMWARE, but I do not believe this applies because of the difference in network adapters. Let me know if you have any thoughts...

Some bugs around network mapping are fixed in 6.1, but it would be best to open a support case so that we can ensure you are experiencing the known issue. Thanks!
