Event's not showing in Veeam ONE Events and task list
Hi All
I'm currently building some new alarms based on Event's in a Cloud Connect enviroment.
For some odd reason important event's do not show in the list in the vONE client GUI.
If I create a test tennant in my Service Provider Console the event shows up in the list: Cloud Connect tenant testkunde [5a750f90-a735-47c0-ad0e-f615b2576104] has been created
This is based on Event ID 24110 from the Event Log "Veeam Backup" and Source "Veeam MP" from the Cloud Connect server
If I delete the same test tennant, I can se Event ID 24120 in the Eventlog on the CC server, but this event dosen't show in the Veeam ONE console, thus I cannot create an alarm of it.
So what could supress this in the VONE client console?
Regard
Einar

Re: Event's not showing in Veeam ONE Events and task list
Hello Einar,
Veeam ONE does not collect by default all the Veeam Backup & Replication events, only those that we tell to collect, usually based on our expertise and Customer feedback. Every event needs to be tested and that is usually why the list might differ.
Perhaps events like these, that are triggered from the VSPC, although is VBR orchestration, are not yet being send the way we collect.
Let me check internally, as adding new events to Veeam ONE, like these ones could be interesting. Will level-up and sync with Veeam Service Provider Console.
Will be back with more answers.

Re: Event's not showing in Veeam ONE Events and task list
Hello @jorgedlcruz and thank's for the answer.
If this is the case, then users should have the opportunity to "enable" Veeam Event ID's from the official ID table found in the doc's.
At this point it's crucial for me to be able to detect "CC Tennant deleted" (Veeam EventID 24120)
Regards
Einar

Hello Einar,
I have checked the source code, and this event is present which it means it looks like a bug in Veeam ONE, please create a support ticket so we can investigate what is happening.
Thank you so much!

Re: Event's not showing in Veeam ONE Events and task list
Hello
I have a related issue. After enabling Fault Tolerance (FT) for a VM in my vCenter, I noticed that Veeam ONE does not display tasks and events. I found the following logs. Even after disabling FT, the issue still persists.

Re: Event's not showing in Veeam ONE Events and task list
Hello
I installed the trial version of VeeamOne for a company we were evaluating it for. After this, I upgraded to the newly released version 12.3, but the issue persists.
I tested this in another environment in a test lab, and the result was the same.

Re: Event's not showing in Veeam ONE Events and task list
I found a solution. This issue is related to a specific task or event created when you enabled FT. To resolve the issue, you need to SSH into the vCenter, stop the vpxd service, clear all tasks and events from the database, reset the event ID sequence number, and then start the vpxd service. After that, everything works fine in VeeamONE.
