Wrong Schedule in Job - Monthly backup.

Post by Frank.Kuhn »

Hey out there,

I have a strange issue at one of our customer backup-jobs.
The job is scheduled to run monthly at every last sunday (all months marked). Its part of the customers backup strategy.

I expected the cycle should be 24th Nov for Nov and the 29th Dec for Dec etc. etc.

But: The job runs every sunday. No matter what I change on the Job - it runs every sunday and fill up the repository in just one month instead of four months.

Is this a bug or are we missing or misunderstanding something?

Many thanks

Frank

Hello Frank,

Please don't bring technical issues to our RnD forum without providing a case number. We cannot investigate such issues over a forum topics. All technical issues must be investigated by our customer support team first. This is explained in the red-banner notice, along with our forum policy when you create a topic.

Assuming you have only enabled "monthly" schedule, then there might be an issue.
Please share the case number with me after you have opened the case.

Best,
Fabian
