Suppress warning message on low repository space in agent job report

Hi all,

i'm using agents to backup remote computers to my production VBR system/repository, and it's a real pleasure .

I can't suppress notifications in agent jobs about low datastore space remaining .

I have datastores by the Teras Bytes, space is under control, and as much as i appreciate agents telling me space is low, the warning is kind of breaking my monitoring system.

I used another pair of eyes, we browsed through every optiond, found nothing.

Is there a way to suppress this warning ?

Hi Florian,

In Veeam Backup & Replication, there is an option to configure certain events that trigger automatic notifications - Low Disk Space Notification is one of them.


If you are using standalone Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows, you can refer to Knowledge base article to manage Free Space Warning.

We applied the registry fix in the KB article, and the space warning is still sent.
Notifications are also disabled at serveur level.

Just to be sure - have you restart Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows service?
Which product version do you use?

yes, service has been restarted.
We use VBR 11.0 .

Other suggestion is to create a key at Agent side (related topic):

DWORD
BackupRepositoryFreeSpaceThresholdPercent

and set the amount of space in percent (default is 10%)
