Best on-prem storage options for Veeam M365 with immutability

Hello,

Could you please advise on the best on-premises storage solutions for Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 and Veeam Backup & Replication, or for each product separately, ideally with immutability support?

Currently, I'm using a Synology DS1621+ NAS via iSCSI with 14TB, but it's reaching capacity.

Hi Tochen,

I will split your topic into two, one for each product. The new topic for VBR is here.
This topic will now cover only Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365.

For VB365 and immutability, you will need to use object storage. Object storage is the only repository type that allows you to store immutable backups for backup and backup copy jobs.
We have an unofficial list of supported object storages, and you can find a list of object storage targets in our Veeam Ready database.
