We need a solution to off-board customers and export all O365 backup data. Response from Veeam Case# 07740649 was:
"There's no way to achieve this in the GUI; you could work out the logic using PowerShell and a for loop: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/archive/vb ... escription
However, do note that we do not offer support nor do we create on-demand scripts.
You will need to work out the logic yourself."
Environment
• Object Storage is used for all backup jobs.
• Seperate backup jobs for O365 applications. IE exchange, sharepoint, teams
Requirement
• Exchange can be exported but this is time consuming and prone to timeout failures. Last customer export attempt took 18 days for 1TB of .pst files
• Cannot export sharepoint at the org level.
• Cannot export teams at the org level.
• Or simply migrate between cloud providers (from provider A to provider B)
Feature request
• These functions as a mature product should be available to administrators from the management UI
• A built-in solution, that allows for migration of VB365 backup data from object storage to another object storage.
• This should work for the primary backup job and a copy job.

Re: Provide a solution to off-board customers and export all O365 backup data
Hi Kevin
Is it to provide the customer with all historical restore points or just an export of the latest restore point? The use case of "all historical restore points" will be addressed by the future object storage-to-object storage migration feature. Your customer will be able to deploy the free version of Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 to access all migrated restore points.
If your use case is to "Export protected data in its original form from the latest Restore Point," this can be achieved with PowerShell today. You only need to write the PowerShell script (or RestAPI) once, and it can then be reused for any customer.
Best,
Fabian

How often would you use an "export" functionality if it were available in the UI? In my opinion, the main user interface should focus on features used daily/weekly.These functions as a mature product should be available to administrators from the management UI
Good news—this request is already on our roadmap! However, it's most likely going to be released as a PowerShell cmdlet and not as a UI feature. Unfortunately, there's no ETA that we can share yet.A built-in solution, that allows for migration of VB365 backup data from object storage to another object storage. What is the main goal for the export?• Exchange can be exported but this is time consuming and prone to timeout failures. Last customer export attempt took 18 days for 1TB of .pst files

Re: Provide a solution to off-board customers and export all O365 backup data
Thanks Fabian,
As to your questions:
1. We have had 5-6 requests from customers in the last 2mths. Customers offboarding and some onboarding but wanting to bring their existing backups.
2. Main goal for the exports, for all requests has been for all their backup data, especially Sharepoint which seems the most problematic.
Cheers

Re: Provide a solution to off-board customers and export all O365 backup data
Hi Kevin,
Thank you.
In this case, since it's "for all their backup data," you probably need an "object storage to object storage migration" solution.
Exporting every single protected item (inclusive all file versions) from every restore points would not be manageable for any customer. I'll add your vote to our internal feature request list.
Best,
Fabian
