Feature Request: centralized logging and auditing for all user actions in VBR/EM/VCC/SSp

Hi,

It would be nice from Veeam to implement centralized logging and auditing for all user actions within the SSP/VBR/VCC/VSPC.

Our Information Security department requires centralized visibility into all user actions related to backup and restore operations, as part of internal policies and compliance requirements.
Currently, as confirmed in Case #07747899, the following activities are not logged centrally:
User logins to the Self-Service Portal
Creation and modification of backup jobs
Execution of restore tasks
Other administrative or delegated user actions

Without centralization we lack full audit trails for backup-related actions.

The challenge with your request is that these are different products:
- VBR (Veeam Backup & Replication) is part of the Veeam Data Platform.
- VSPC (Veeam Service Provider Console) is an additional product that can monitor Veeam Backup & Replication environments.
- VCC (Veeam Cloud Connect) is essentially VBR and provides similar reporting capabilities.
- SSP — I assume you mean Self Service Portal; however, we have three or four different Self Service Portals. Please specify which product and feature you are referring to.

Audit reports are already possible for VBR, VCC, and probably SSP through Veeam ONE. If I remember correctly, <user logins> to our products are not logged today, but the team is working on it.

The following three requests can already be monitored and reported in Veeam ONE:
- Creation and modification of backup jobs
- Execution of restore tasks
- Other administrative or delegated user actions

VSPC is a different product and cannot be monitored by Veeam ONE. Please see the end of my comment and add yourself to the service provider group. We have a private subforum for Service Provider products where you can discuss your request for the Service Provider Console.

I will apply to provider user group.
When we talk about centralized logging and auditing it is not nessasry Veeam ONE. If it is possible to send everything with Syslog it will be even better.
