Veaam Job stick at 40%
Hi
Case # 07777937
I have a endpoint that won't run past 40%. After a few hours its fails with a Error: Error in the application
I have tried changing the job and reinstalling the app but no success.
The endpoint has been running fine for a long time.
Anyone got any advice?

Error in the application is indeed too general.
Last time I faced similar error during Veeam agent backup, running chkdsk determined that there is hardware error on my endpoint machine.

Nas - I have run chkdsk and found no errors.
Mark - we are running the agent on a desktop backing up to a NAS. Do you mean resources on the endpoint?

Hello simonneal,
did you run chkdsk with "/r" ?
I would check the client disk(s) with "HD Tune" or some other tool that scans all clusters. (just in case)
Also check the "Reliability Monitor" and "Event Manger" for crashes/problems on the client.
Basic/general stuff:
Long runtime? -> clean reboot
Do you shutdown the client? Fast boot/hibernate active? -> turn it off, often causes problems (powercfg.exe /hibernate off)
I guess you used the newest version while reinstalling?
Best regards.

Hello simonneal,
Have you tried checking SSL inspection between application (machine with agent) and the repository?

The issue was --vdisk_corrupted error.
I ran chkdsk repair a few times as per veeam-agent-for-windows-f33/vdisk-corru ... 91675.html
Even though Chkdsk was not reporting errors, it fixed it.
