Hi,
We have currently 2 active sites (site A and site B) each with its own VBR server and repository. The management is planning to decommission site B, and merging all the backup files, backup jobs and repository to site A.
What is the best way to migrate backup files and backup jobs from the VBR server and repository from site B, to the VBR server and repository to site A?

Re: Moving backup files to another backup server and repository
Hi storageguy,
Do I get it right that the repository on Site B will be used on Site A?
If so, take Site B offline to avoid both sites using the repository at the same time (not supported, and may cause irrevocable issues with the backup chain)
Add the repository to Site A and once added rescan it to import backups.
Recreate the jobs on Site A's VBR, and then map the backups to the new jobs (step 3)
