Hello,
We use a powershell script periodically to check for orphaned files (not orphaned backups visible in the console) on the disk repositories (performance tier). We most often find some for various reasons, and do the cleanup manually.
But what about the capacity tier? I'm pretty sure we also have orphaned files there due to changes or errors done in the past, so is there a way to have some tool or script which scans a capacity tier and ensures all chunks are related to known backups in the database, then list and potentially delete more or less automatically all those who are not?
Thanks.

Re: Scanning capacity tier for orphaned files
Hi FrenchBlue,
Data on Capacity Tier should be periodically cleaned up during the offload sessions -- if you suspect you have orphaned data, open a Support Case and allow Veeam Support to review the situation and advise the best course of action.
No actions should be taken directly on the S3 bucket without the supervision of Veeam Support.
