Proxmox Support in Veeam Software Appliance
I've deployed the new Veeam appliance to our lab environment to start testing it out. I went to add our PVE test host, but noticed under virtual platforms that only vSphere and Hyper-V are listed. Is Proxmox support in the appliance still under development, or is there a way to add the PVE host that I'm not seeing? Thanks in advance.

Re: Proxmox Support in Veeam Software Appliance
Hi Ryan,
At this time, we only support VMware vSphere and Hyper-V (Whats New in v13 - Page 7) in Web UI.
Proxmox support, along with other missing workloads, will be added to the Web UI over time.
Our goal is to eventually have every feature and workload available in the web UI, but it will take a few versions to get there.
Meanwhile you can continue using the Windows based backup console for your Proxmox infrastructure.

Best,
Fabian

Makes sense, I'll get the Windows console installed and test it out. Thank you!

[merged] Web Console - Proxmox Backups
Dear all,
We have recently upgraded to Veeam 13.0.1.1071 on Windows Server and have started using the new Web UI console, which looks very promising.
However, we noticed that Proxmox backup jobs are completely missing from the Web UI, and it is currently not possible to manage them through the console.
Is this a known limitation in Veeam 13? If so, it would be great to see this functionality implemented in a future update.
Many Thanks
Andrea

Hi Andrea,
I've moved your post to an existing topic on the subject. Please see Fabian's post above, but in short we plan to get other hypervisors into the WebUI in a future update.
