Hello everyone,
We have been trying for quite some time to back up Mac systems using Veeam and connect our own S3 storage (PureStorage).
Unfortunately, we are not really getting anywhere with our support ticket (Case #07969938).
To summarise briefly: we use an S3 storage system from PureStorage and have successfully implemented the following products:
All in the latest versions.
- Veeam Agent for Windows
- Veeam Backup and Replication
- Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365
Where it cannot be connected:
- Veeam Agent for Mac
The Mac systems are also up to date and have unlimited internet access and can access the S3 storage. We have already checked this with Wireshark.
We suspect that the Veeam Agent for Mac uses different code /pre-checks when connecting to S3 storage than the other products.
