Proxmox restore

Post by ebarrios08 »

I am starting in this party a bit late, I think. I have been a long time Veeam user. I am running the 12.3 version and proxmox 9.1.1. I am trying to restore an backup of a vmware vm to a my new proxmox server. It gets as far as preparing to restore. Then "Fails on prepare disk". This happens no matter what type of disk I chose on the wizard. I have tried RAW, VMDK and qcow2. I am not sure if I need to reformat the directory. I have a large partition on a directory set for backup, image, restore.

Any help is appreciated
