Version NUmber of Enterprise Manager

Hello,

we still use Veeam 12.3.2.4465
It seems that Enterprise Manager runs in version 12.3.2.3617, this is visible from Configurationpage --> About
Ist this expected or should it also have a version 12.3.2.4465

reason ist we have a network security scanner and it claims B&R not up to date and is raising an alarm. the tool gets its information from startpage of enterprise manager: https://example.com:9443
We can see something like this in html-sourcecode:

I think this is a problem in our security tool, different parts of an appliance dont have necessarily same version numbers.
What do yo think?

Hi Hans,

I'm guessing you're correct, those resources simply didn't get updated by the most recent patch so the numbers there didn't change, so I wouldn't rely on parsing out stuff from page source.

Similarly, if you're worried about KB4830 that affected the components listed in the article, not Enterprise Manager.

So probably you are correct and the scanner is simply checking the version number and mistaking Enterprise Manager for a Backup Server and flagging it.
