alerts during working hours

Hi,

i use veeam one latest version and my question is can i only be notified of alerts only during working hours?

Hi Avi,

It's not possible to control that, but could you please clarify if you are referring to email notifications or all alarms triggered by Veeam ONE?

i'm referring to all alarms triggered by Veeam ONE that sent via email.

Ok, thanks for the feedback, but I got one more question - should the email notification be sent if production host gets disconnected from the storage during the night? Just trying to understand the use case for this capability.

probably yes but i don't want to get alert at night that the avg disk queue is high and avg disk write/sec is high etc... because at night there are heavy pressure on the HOST disk because of backups and other maintenance that runs inside the guest.

Hmm...what about suppressing those alarms at specific time interval? Should do the trick...

i don't want to do that by hand.can it be done automatically?
i've 10 companies that use the veeam one product.

if i run this script UPDATE monitor.Alarm SET suppress_type = 2, suppress_data = '19:0006:00' i will not get any alerts between 7PM till 6AM.am i right?

Yes, you can double-check that via suppress setting of any alarm after you run the script.

i run this script UPDATE monitor.Alarm SET suppress_type = 2, suppress_data = '02:0003:00'
where name = 'Host average disk queue length' it change in the sql but not in GUI.why?

Have you restarted Veeam ONE service after applying these changes?
