Veeam stops responding when doing windows file restore

Hi....

We had problems with our backups on one of our windows 2008 vm's.
The problem was a problem with RPC, I rebooted the server with the problem and after that the backups went fine.
The problem I have now, is if I try "restore guest files (windows)" nothing happens and veeam stops responding, it does this only for this vm other vm's works.
What can I do to solve this?

Kenneth, the most effective way would be to open a case with our technical support as it's pretty hard to guess the reason of this behavior, while debug logs will most likely reveal it.

Hi, Kenneth. Also, you can try to utilize the “Other OS” type of restore and see whether it helps or not. Thanks.

Hi thanks for your answers... i tried "other OS type" and then I can see the files on the C: drive but not on the e: drive...
I will open a case with support...

Hi ....

Update regarding the solution of the problem...

Made an support ticket and send them the logs, they couldnt see antyhing except that the file manager didnt respond.
They suggested that I update the version of Veeam B&R to 6.5 which I did and also put on the patch 6.5.0.144...

After that was done i could see that a recovery job was hanging (didnt see it in the version 6.0)... tried stopping it and restarting the veeam server no difference still hanging.
Did this http://www.veeam.com/kb1534 and after that the filerestore works as it should.
