I'm trying to make a Backup of one VM of my ESX Server. I configure the task and i can communicate and validate the Veeam Backup Tool with the server, even i can see the content of my esx Server, but when a run the task for the backup, it fails. I'm trying to Backup only one disk (where no reside the Operative System).

Hello Danilo,

Could you please make sure that you have this file presented on the datastore connected to your ESX host?
You can check that by using either FastSCP utility (browse to your ESX host) which is build-in to Veeam Backup and Replication console, or you can achieve that by using VMware Datastore browser:

vmfs/volumes/4a3fc1f3-4061b193-cf21-00215e6f0022/srvficheros01 - Windows Server/srvficheros01 - Windows Server .vmdk

Thank you

Yes, the file exist in the ESX server, has 0.54KB size and the last modified date is 23 -jun - 2009. Previously i use the option in the VMWare Infrastructure Client ---> Relocate Virtual Machines Files; i don't know if this causes the problem. This is a test enviroment to implement this tool for backup tasks. But i can't continue my tests if can't resolve this issue. Any other idea ... please ...
Thank you so much Vitaliy
