SNMP traps version
Hi,
I have configured the monitor (version 6.5) to send traps to our central monitoring system and I have noticed that the traps being sent are SNMPv1. Is there any way to configure Veeam ONE to send v2 traps?
This is a tcpdump from the nagios server:
15:12:06.986849 IP (tos 0x0, ttl 128, id 17112, offset 0, flags [none], proto UDP (17), length 309)
172.x.x.x.64636 > 172.y.y.y.snmptrap: [udp sum ok] { SNMPv1 { Trap(262) .1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.50 172.x.x.x enterpriseSpecific s=201 51755470 .1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.50.301="Virtual machine" .1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.50.302=" " .1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.50.303="vm_name" .1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.50.304="Reset/resolved" .1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.50.305="Warning" .1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.50.306="VM CPU ready - ("Average CPU ready" (<b>10%</b>) is above a defined threshold (10%)<br/>)" } }

Re: SNMP traps version
Hello Ori,
I don't think there is a way to change that without changing actual code, but I will double-check that with the devs tomorrow.
Thank you!

Re: SNMP traps version
Not sure it is possible to change that, but can you please tell me why this is important, so I could plan this feature for the next updates?

Re: SNMP traps version
Security concerns, I believe it is required by regulation.
