Welcome letter to the tenant via powershell

Post by private-0330 »

Hi, we are using VEEAM Cloud Connect, and I am wondering if it is possible to create a new tenant via Powershell.
I found a command Add-VBRCloudTenant, but this command does not contain all the features in the web interface. In particular, I can not find how to generate a "welcome letter" with a username and password to send to the user.
The build number is 11.0.1.1261.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi Oleksandr

Welcome to the forum. Please register yourself as a service provider. I will move this topic to the dedicated sub forums for service provider questions after you have registered yourself.

What you need is our Veeam Service Provider Console. It allows you to create and manage tenants.
A welcome Mail will be send out by the Service Provider Console with username and password.
For automatization, you can use the Veeam Service Provider Console RestAPI:

Hi, Fabian,
Thanks for the replay.
RestAPI is great, but what about Powershell? Any chance to make full tenant onboarding (including login/password via Welcome letter)?

You can use PowerShell to invoke REST API calls.
The Service Provider Console doesn't have a PowerShell integration.
And Veeam Connect itself doesn't send welcome mails.
