Backups I'm trying to restore were created on a Proliant DL380e Gen 8 with a SCSI Tandberg Storageloader 1000 or, later, with same MSL2024 but with a FH LTO4 SCSI drive.
I was correctly able to restore some LTO-4 backups created with a Tandberg Storageloader 1000 at 1MB block size (I would assume no probel from HW/SW to read old tapes/backups) but for some others created in the same environment, after the inventory was executed fine and tape correctly recognized the tape goes shoeshining for hours (stopped after 4) and Veeam's logs get full of:
Going to tape next xx block...
Going to tape next xx block... ok.
for thousands of lines; no trace of error. Other tapes/backups from same set have been catalogued within max 1h. Any idea on what I could check? I tried to change the block size at different formats to only notice that the tape agent is smart enough tries that on its own

Thx!
