Thanks for the quick reply. Customer found a laptop that still had EndPoint.126.96.36.1992 Beta installed, so we were able to access the folder of interest, but we couldn't find any .ost's. Further search on the forum indicates .ost files don't get backed up.
I tried installing EndPoint.188.8.131.522 Beta on my laptop (after uninstalling VEB 1.5), but encounter the same hang at "starting services". Is there a registry edit or VEB uninstaller/clean-up tool that would allow an install of EndPoint.184.108.40.2062 Beta on system that had been running a newer version?
