Has there ever been a solution to this?
We are using Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 and have the same issue.

I don't think this was addressed to be honest. I would need to verify to be sure. If it has not been addressed, we will look into it, but the mail notification will already have different options in v7 as we are making sure that the new methods from Google and MSFT are supported
