Backup Job Stuck
Hi Guys,
I am having a issue with my Incremental Backup Job getting stuck in the stopping phase,
I have tried the following to try and fix this ,
-Restarted All Services , Closed Veeam Proccesses.
-Restarted Veeam Server
-Installed Latested Patch
Stopped a running FLR using http://www.veeam.com/kb_articles.html/kb1534
Attempted the following KB http://www.veeam.com/kb1727, this did not resolve the issue Rebooted all proxies including the Veeam server / proxy and ran the following SQL query, this did not resolve the stopping jobs USE VeeamBackup UPDATE [dbo.Backup.Model.JobSessions] set [state] = '-1'
where [state] != '-1'
The issue was not resolved by any of the above steps.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on running a SQL Query to set the Backup job status to stopped then at least I can clone the job migrate the repository to the cloned job and delete the faulty one.
?? Any Ideas would be great
Regards
Mike

Hi Mike,
In order to fix this issue properly and clear the correct field in the SQL table, please contact our technical team directly. Also I would suggest investigating the reason for this unwanted behavior.
Thanks!

Hi, Michael,
So, the case was closed or it's still under investigation? Also, you can ask your existing engineer to escalate your case to a higher tier engineer, if you're not satisfied with the help provided.
Thanks.

Yes, Vladimir is absolutely correct. What is your case ID by the way?

00475106 - I will wait for my allocated Veeam Technician to contact me tomorrow I have dealt with him before and he is superb,
I have ensured I have backups tonight using a work around.
Please disregard "Engineers where unable to resolve this for me" -They tried there best and where great to deal with.
