Hi!
I have confirmed it with Support (case 07117248) that currently there is no way for tenants to delete their backups from the cloud repository if the backup agent is inaccessible. Can you please consider adding this option in the future?
Use case: the tenant deploys backup agent via VSPC and makes backups. Then the original server goes down and they perform BMR to another server. Now they want to delete the backups they previously created, but they cannot do it. The only way to delete the backups is to delete the associated backup job. And the job cannot be deleted if the agent is inaccessible (the original server is dead and we can't "revive" it). All they can do is remove the inaccessible mgmt agent from VSPC, but it won't delete the backups. So, the tenant has to contact us for repository cleanup. It would be nice to give the tenants more control over their backups.
Thank you.
