Error: On-host proxy [XX] requires upgrade before it can be used.
Not sure what is going on, I have deployed a new fail over manager cluster with hyper-v 2 of my 3 nodes run backups just fine, they were all deployed fresh and configured in the same way. the 3rd node is giving me Error: On-host proxy [XX] requires upgrade before it can be used but there are no updates to be installed, it was deployed like all others. I've manually uninstalled all Veeam apps and cleaned registry/services, restarted, run the scan and reinstalled the Veeam components, still the same problem. Why is Veeam complaining bout upgrades when there is NONE to be installed?

is the cluster validation test giving a hint, whats maybe different on the 3rd node?
do you run classic SAN LUNs. if yes, just wipe it and setup a fresh installation.
where is the vbr installed?

I'll try to open a ticket, but most likely will have to go through the reseller and this is always a pain with any vendor... I may just re-install windows on the node that has a problem as it will take less time.PetrM wrote: ↑Oct 08, 2025 8:26 pm Hello,

cluster validation is fine, I have already a lot of stuff running on it for the last 4 days stress testing it, storage is via iscsi with mpio, everything works as it should on all nodes. I may just reinstall that node indeed. I configured everything via PowerShell from scratch as I'm running the nodes in core mode, 99.99% sure everything is the same.karsten123 wrote: ↑Oct 08, 2025 8:29 pm is the cluster validation test giving a hint, whats maybe different on the 3rd node?

VBR is running as a VM on another node outside the cluster.
