The gateway server is picked at random and per job session: Veeam Backup & Replication may use one gateway server for one job session and another gateway server for another job session.
That's a normal behaviour because VBR server cannot write directly to CIFS - a gateway server is required. The closer gateway to CIFS share you choose the better performance at backup transfrom operations you get.DLMSKY wrote:<...>all backups on B site will be made through this gateway (instead of writing directly to the CIFS repo).
