We purposely held off deploying v6 given the amount of initial issues there were with it within itself, but later due to the back & forth issues that kept cropping up & Veeam had to get VMware to fix etc.
So, we're now at the point where things have been looking far more stable so we're ready to upgrade (yes, we're happy that reliable backups are more important to us than running the latest & greatest vSphere platform!
) but I wanted to first check what is the most stable v6 version that a Veeam customer should consider deploying?
We're currently still on 5.5 but will be deploying a couple of new small sites which we'll also be covering with Veeam (so we have to start with vCenter 6 first anyway).
Any major gotchas (related to Veeam) that are still lurking about or are was "safe" to now grab the latest version & get on with it?
