Tape Job Error

Hi,

I'm facing an issue with one of our customer's tape job. There are many jobs running and in "success" but not this one...

Anybody has this issue before ? Thanks.

Are you positive that source backup job isn't running at that moment or trying to merge increments? Also, what's your case number (it's requested when you click New Topic); without it the topic will be removed by moderators eventually? Thanks.

We got 2 tape libraries (IBM TS3100), one directly attached to the Veeam server and the other on another location.
We got 2 jobs ("original", who runs on the Veeam server and "duplicate" who runs on the remote server) to write our backup files to tape. Both jobs take the files from the only one repository we got.
The problems only happens on the principal server, on the remote everything is fine.
Both "backup to tape" jobs, copy files from 16 backup to disk jobs, and the fail only succeed on the principal server and with some of the files, not all.

If anyone can help, I will appretiate that.

People, I cloned the job with troubles, and run that clone. Everything is going fine now.

Hi - I'm getting this now. Seems to have just randomly started to appear for some jobs. Does not seem to be preventing them from completing (yet) however:

The tape backup job has become corrupted and needs to be cloned, right?

We have had this same issue twice now both times cloning the backup job has temporarily fixed it but I have logged job 01799395 to find a permanent fix.

Has anyone else had this keep recurring as we clone the tape job and it is good for a number of weeks or months and then bang it happens again.
To date Veeam support have not been able to resolve this.
