Re: SQL Server Transaction Log Backup
Sounds like the log shipping server was also being used as the gateway server for accessing the repository. Is that server running 32-bit Windows?

Re: SQL Server Transaction Log Backup
logshipping is indeed gateway server for a SOBR (with multiple catalyst stores). Server is running 2012R2. Tried to use a vm as logshipping server > no success. Is this a known issue with storeonce ?

I'm not sure what the problem could be with 2012R2. What about the VM you're backing up, is that running a 32-bit OS?

Re: SQL Server Transaction Log Backup
Make sure to include logs from the log shipping and gateway servers. Normally these would be included when using the export wizard.

Re: SQL Server Transaction Log Backup
We tested on a local repository on the gateway server, and this seems to work. Guess there is an issue with communication with the Catalyst repository ?

Re: SQL Server Transaction Log Backup
Spoke to support yesterday, and it was a glitch on a gateway / proxy server believing this server was 32-bits instead of 64-bits. Everything works now as expected.

Re: SQL Server Transaction Log Backup
And the last update
We tried configuring a SOBR with 5 catalyst extents, and returned back to the Original error message. My assumption SOBR with Catalyst extents is not a working for now, and we step back to Catalyst repository only.
thanks !

Re: SQL Server Transaction Log Backup
What if you try to remove log shipping server role from this gateway server?
