this veeam one installation cannot be updated automatically

Hello all,
we installed Veeam Availability Suite completly new in an envrionment. The Veeam B+R server has a separate SQL server for his jobs database. Now we want to update the Veeam One server to version 9.0.0.2088.But this fails with error "this veeam one installation cannot be updated automatically". Could the separate SQL server be the reason that the update fails? Did anybody face this problem? Thanks a lot in advance.

Our support should have a solution to this problem, please contact them directly. Your installation is just fine, separate SQL Server is fully supported.

Just to re-confirm are you updating to version 9 or to 9.5?

Ok! In this case can you please re-download the update, since we have updated the bits last night, and try again? It should address the problem you observe.

I've the same issue... tested with Windows 2012 R2 and Windows 8.1
I've another ONE 9.0 and I need to setup again this version (waiting more time before update to 9.5)
I'm using free version of Veeam ONE.
Can I open a support case?

Yes, opening a support case for a free version can also be done. Let me know if you face any issues with that.

I've a VeeamONE Free (9.5.0.3201) with Windows 2012 R2 and all updates

Trying to install the "VeeamONE_9.5.0.3254_Update#1" I've received this:

Extracting files from the update package: This Veeam ONE installation cannot be updated automatically. Please contact Veeam customer support for assitence with manual update

KB2157 not solved my problem.

How to fix it?

I'm stiil getting mad with this.
Cannot believe I cannot install update 3 on a legit installation.
I hate losing time for such stupid things.
I did install also all of the certicates that seemed to be requirend and no use.

Why these kind of uber stupid errors just for updating 9.5 to 9.5u3 ??

Never been able to update update1 and 2. I'm stuck.
