Mailbox Item Restore failed via Enterprise Manager
Hi everbody,
The new Installation with Veam Backup & Replication 9.5U2 on the physical server works well.
Here via the Veeam console we can restore Exchange items without problems.
But when we try the same via the web frontend of the Veeam Enterprise Manager we got this error box:
"Unable to find assembly "Veeam.Ews Version=9.5.0.950 Culture=neutral PublicKeyToken=null"
Anyone any idea on this?
Greatings
Alexander

Hi Alexander,
I'd recommend you to contact the support team and let them take a closer look at the logs.
Please share the case id, since you're asking a technical error related question, you should put it in the thread according to the forum's rules. Thanks!

Hi Alexander,
the topic is a little old, but the solution to your problem would still be very appreciated.

Re: Mailbox Item Restore failed via Enterprise Manager
HI Andre,
just an update on the case:
support supplied some regkeys to ignore cert errors. But it weas just the first step. In the end it turned out that it depends where you initiate restore from.
If you do it trough VBR, VBR in used as mount server, if it is trough EM, than it uses one of the mount servers spceified where backup files reside.
The problem in our case was, that the mount server used by EM was in secondarys site, and some ports were not open between that mount server (our phisical proxy) and Exchange cas server (a VIP adress).
If you opened the case, please provide your solution, If you have it already.
