Hi krowczynski,
Thanks for the info!
It's true - we depend on the Heartbeat Status we receive from the VMware API. And, as you saw in that forum post - this information can be unreliable sometimes.
Best idea for the moment is probably to disable that Monitor, as advised; you still receive all other events and metrics related to VMs, so you still have good visibility of VM status.
Let's hope a VMware update will fix the stability of the Heartbeat alarms from VC.
Thanks again!
Alec

Re: VMware Tools Heartbeat Status
Hy,
I know it is an old post, but is there any improvement on Veeam side (or VmWare side) about Heartbeat Stability ?
Thanks.

Hello Imrane,
You're right, this is a 2 years old thread... can you please tell me if you have any issues with this monitor? What vSphere version are you currently running?
Thanks!

Re: VMware Tools Heartbeat Status
We are using 5.1.0 BUILD 838463
All VmWareTools are up-to-date
VCenter is a VM (win 2k8R2) with no performance issue
I havejust opened a case with the support.
