1 License file in multiple host error in V7 patch 1
Hi all
i have 3 V7 management servers and they are all using the same license file. I have upgraded one of them with the V7 patch 1 and restarted and now it wont start, i have tried restarting it and i get an error:-
"Method not found: Boolean Veeam.Backup.LicenseLib.CLicense.get_IsExpired()"
and the Veeam console wont open and i cant even select a different license file.
Anyone had this probelem or know a fix please?
thanks

Hi Michael,
Did you have a chance to contact our technical team on this? What do they say about this issue?
Thanks!

Michael, this is kind of issues usually mean that the patch did not install correctly. Either some file in your install is now missing, or is still of the old version. The debug logs will say for sure, which is why it is best to contact support in this case. Thanks!

Guys
support told me to rebuild and i ended up having to rebuild teh vull VM not just an uninstall/reinstall of Veeam.
take a snapshot before upgrading the patch in the future

Good practice, indeed.Hasslehogg wrote:take a snapshot before upgrading the patch in the future
Did support come up with any idea of what was the reason of the initial failure?

Ouch, better hold off a while before updating then.
Is there anywhere where they changes in patch01 are documented? (changes in powershell objects, commandlets, behavior etc)

Patches bring no changes, they are all about bug fixes and small enhancements.
The complete list of changes is documented in the patch notes.
